Mid Kent Fisheries - pretty much everyone knows of Conningbrook home of the late Two Tone but they have something like 20+ sets of other lakes most of which have high 30's or 40's in them and they run a 4 tier membership, tier 1 which allows you to fish all waters 395 for the year, depending on how much you want to spend and/or how many waters you want to be allowed to fish.

Hope you don't mind me putting this link on to their forum as its not an open forum, only HDAA members can post but some of the info on the venues and pictures of the specimen fish is well worth a look at.

As far as Northern carping history is written, a few of there venues, The Tilery, Motorway and Brickyard are some of the most iconic written about lakes in the North. The likes of Tim Paisley, Kevin Clifford, Julian Cundiff and many others have all fished these and wrote chapters on there captures.
For many years Motorway held the Yorkshire record. A genuine 40lb fish that was stocked into another lake and moved because of gravel extraction.
Please feel free to remove if yyou do not feel this is OK.

PS, If anybody fancies a guest session, let me know as i have a ticket for Osprey and Motorway.

CAA (chelmsford angling assocaition) lakes quite a lot of them mainly in and around chelmsford area and rivers too
BDAC billericay and district clu8b. many venues all around essex. mountnesseing, brentwood ,maldon, and close to stansted airport basildon areas.has over 24 venues.

Over the last 8 years or so i have been a member of 6 clubs of which one does not have a commitee running it just one guy ( a strange club that one is more of a syndicate with 100 members).Of all the clubs only one i have been a member of for more than 2 years.. I tend to move from one to another ,not really finding my ideal club ( of which probably does not exist) Yes i have looked at syndicates and was offered membership to 3 of them ,but turned them down on financial reasons. 400 was much too much a year to pay for one lake .
But all of them offered a good deal but just failed at the winning post for me !
Back in 2006/7 i was in "neg " to take over the running of a lake in Romford essex owned by Havering but again let down not be Havering council, who approached me in the first place to run there lake but by tackle shop owner who decided not to tell me he had backed out of the deal to do a deal on a syndicated lake in Esssex. I decided never get involve again in running a lake or getting involved in anything to do with running a fishery or club commitees.
All i want to do is fish and not get involved !
But have plenty of experience with being a member of angling clubs and what they offered ! They all had there good and not so good ! Not one really offered the perfect club ! But if members here of the forum are interested....i can give them the SP on them and what they offer to the carp angler (which in some cases is a lot).
