perhaps this might be 1 for the tech heads out there:

with the modern smart phones on the market today i.e ipnone, htc, blackberry etc,etc and with it being very easy to access the web on these type of phones do i need to have a type of virus protection on them if there is such a thing? and also is there a way or do i even need to clear cookies that sort of thing like i would need to on a laptop or desktop?

Install the ThreatCon app if you have an iPhone or AVG Mobilation if you're on an Android.

Only install these directly from iTunes or Android Market, there are a lot of spoof sites out there.

Don't store bank details or passwords on your phone and make sure you exit websites when you've been browsing and have finished.

The threat against smartphones is growing at an alarming rate. About 15% of the issues we now see on phones is virus related or the phones are found to have viruses (unknown to the user) lying dormant in them (waiting to pick up specific information an then using it).

never cleared the cookies on my phone either, and yes they come with anti virus built in, but if you want to install one for peace of mind, the avg anti virus app is a very good one.
