I also have a set of three. In general they are excellent reels, but I have two little niggles. The first is the line clip which could be further back on the spool - I have had the line slip out of the clip on occasions. Secondly, if you aren't careful when using the baitrunner part of the baitrunner spool it can change the setting of the clutch.

I'm also looking at getting a set of these reels unsure though between these and the top end windcasts and biomasters,

i do curently own a set of the boimaster reels with the new baitrunner type system on them so quite used to that now i think they are a really supurb set of reels my only niggle with these reels is they are quite heavy hence me looking at the baby big pit as they are so much lighter and on the face of it almost the same as the biomaster reels ;)

I also own a set of Windcast Zs and these too are excellent reels, although a little larger than the 5500s. I use these on larger waters teamed with 3.25lb T/C rods and the Shimanos with 2.75lb T/C rods on smaller lakes.
