tell ya what keith had a look round the website, and i fancy a dabble on there over the winter, whats the prices for 24 hr sessions do you know as he only has prices for 12 hrs at a time ??

reading between the lines john from oct till feb its 5 a rod per 12hrs x 2= 20 for 2 rods for 24hrs...

Im doing 36 hours on here thurs/fri will let you all know how i get on. As for the social, at the moment he only lets four fish at a time.

im seriously thinking of doing a few sessions on there before the years out.

well only managed 1 fish a lovely linear mirror only 11lb in weight but a lovely fish. conditions were terrible though gale force winds making it near impossible to get the boilies out and casting very difficult. also the water was up 2ft and some of the pegs were underwater but the owner has said they will be working on this next week so that it wouldnt happen again. will definitely try again when the conditions are more favourable.

yes andy, you had some pretty horrendous weather to contend with..fair play to ya...at least you managed to have one ,for your efforts..anyway thanks for lettin us know how you wemt on....

Short reply. Seems a venue deffo worthy of exploration. 320 mile round trip for me so probs an unlikely candidate, sadly.

looks a lovely place..only prob,5 per rod per 12 hours. 3 rods 24 hours 30? very steep imo.

I must admit I was seriously considering going until I saw the forecast earlier today and I don't think the water will be fishable this side of Christmas if what they are giving actually arrives :pat: :pat: :cry: :cry:
