Work.....its a dirty word, still needs must... it had kept me away from the syndi for 3 weekends... The plan was to fish the fri night, alas this did nt go to plan and i ended up heading off early Saturday morning after a trip to tesco, at least the roads to the syndi were clear and the drive enjoyable as i thought of all thing carpy.. The alarm clock sounded , 4.30 am. I must be mad ,as i heard the rain lash against the bedroom window.....i made my way down stairs, to where the gear was there waiting for me to load into the car...the syndi water was about a 20 minute drive from my house , so by the time i`d loaded the car it was pushing five am and i was off up the a50.. .i arrived at the water in darkness to find two cars parked up....damm, this wasnt what i needed to see to be honest. ...

But the chestnut was not amongst them.... i watched them as ...
