To start the rig take a hook of your choice, a braid of your choice, on the supple braid tie a small rig ring to your braid then set the ring opposite the point of the hook, tie a knottles knot.

get a piece of slim shrink tubing an inch long, place the tubing over the eye up the shank, stop the tubing across from the point as per..

when you shrink the tubing bring it forward slightly towards the point as above

now here is the twist ....take the rig and steam it again and take the tubing to the side like this..

what ever size of bait you are using make sure you leave a gap of around 3mm so the bait isnt tight up to the ring this helps the hook the turn. And turn it does,on a over the finger test it turned sooner and faster than a standard tubing set up.
As the tubing is turned to the side, you may say it will spook the carp as it wouldnt be flat on the bottom, but how do you know how any rig lands on the bottom?

I have used the makes rig side by side against standard set ups,and its out hooked the standard setup 3 to 1,also it sets deeper which to me says it turns as quick as the finger test
