just got back from gawsworth fishery were i done 48 hours..
all in all i had a very enjoyable couple of days.
i had 17 carp in total upto the weight of 13 pound.
i lost a couple of bigger fish wich i would estimate upto low twentys.
the crafty bleeders run down the sides of the lake straight into the lilly pads :argh: :argh:
i was fishing into the wind just yards of the dam wall useing a little tree as my marker.
the first night was very slow but come dawn my rods were away at regular intervals.
useing andys KGB RED. i fed 4kilos of 14millers and 10 kilo of pellet.
i had 9 commons averaging 7 pounds, some of the mouths on these fish were shocking to say the least.
i had 8 mirrors wich were slitter bigger averaging 9 pounds and my biggest a 13pound 2 ounce little stunner.
didnt take any pics. the weather was very changeble and we had a right storm wednesday night thunder and lightning right over my bivvy with the biggest down pour ive seen for a while.
this really turned the fish on and i couldnt get enought bait in and my little spots were fizzing like a jaquizzi..
would reccomend this place to anyone, its a a lovely quiet place with plenty of wildlife(watched the buzzards every day hunting the hedgerows for the young rabbits, and seen them come back on the wing with a rabbit evey now and then.
i had a little wood mouse for company that took a likeing for andys KGB RED.
out of bait now so will be placeing my order of andy real soon, they really took a likeing to the KGB RED.
will be out again real soon and will keep you posted. :pol: :pol:
tight lines for now,regards

mikey.......
