I went to Freedom Lakes - Angel in July with a group of family/freinds. Temps were high (35c-41C in shade) and lake relatively shallow, so the water got very warm and the fishing was very slow. However our group shared 1@15, 17x20's 6x30's 1@41.6. A few pb's were scored but we had expected more catches from a lake when originally reading its web site description. However after our booking / during the winter 6.1 tonnes of fish were moved to another lake (another visiting lake owner told us this during our stay) - thus it did not live up to its "approaching a Runs Type water" description that is still shown on its web page. Groan over - the complex was well laid out and bins / sacks provided to help keep tidy and Mark the bailiff very helpful.

That does put a slightly different slant on it. I think Iain thought it was one angler LOL....bless him.
